Streetcar Art at Freret Street Market

While wilting in the August sun visiting the Freret Street Market today (it was nice; but I’m waiting until October to go back) we spotted this nifty streetcar in one of the booths. We snapped a picture just in time; a very nice lady (with good taste) had just purchased it and it was being [...]

Streetcar Mailbox

Reading The Times Picayune’s Inside Out this Saturday, I feel instantly in love with a mailbox they showcased.  I had to see it for myself.  So after driving around town for two days, I found it!  And here it is.  Isn’t it the best mailbox ever?
(Images edited to remove the street address on the box.)
